Plant
Over the years L. Kattenhorn & Partners fleet has substantially grown.
We now boast a large fleet of vehicles including 11 tachographed lorries and 2 low loaders, these are used to transport our own plant items.
We also have a wide range of plant items which enables us to supply nearly all of our jobs with the appropriate plant.
When the company first started we were having to hire a lot of machinery in order to be able to do the work at hand. In the present day we very rarely have to out source or hire plant at all. This is a major development within the company.
The most commonly hired plant is Plant is planers and sweepers which are used to plane out roads; this would be most commonly used within larger contracts.
The plant that we have is as follows:
7 no: Paving Machines in a variety of sizes.
2 no: Dumpers
4 no: Compressors
13 no: Rollers in a variety of sizes.
8 no: Bobcats
1 no: Chipspreader
1 no: Dead Weight Roller
2 no: Hitachi Diggers ZX30 & ZX50
We have recently purchased a second Vogele Super 1803-2 6 wheeled paver. Please see our latest news page for more information as well as pictures. We intend to continually upgrade our plant to maintain our high standards.
We pride ourselves on regular services and all maintenance is carried out in house on a regular basis.
